Code of Conduct for Students:

All students seeking admission to the College, as well as existing students, must submit an undertaking, countersigned by their parents, pledging to abide by the College’s disciplinary guidelines. In addition to the Student Handbook, some of the key guidelines are as follows:

  1. Regularity and Attendance
  • Every student must be regular in attendance and complete their course of study within the prescribed duration.

  1. Discontinuation of Studies
  • In the event a student is compelled to discontinue studies for any legitimate reason, they may be relieved from the College only with a written consent from the authorities.

  • Upon such discontinuation, the student must clear all pending dues. If the student was admitted under a scholarship scheme, the corresponding grant will be subject to cancellation or adjustment as per College policy.

  1. Discipline and Conduct
  • The College is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and disciplined environment. Students must uphold academic integrity, respect others’ rights, property, and personal safety.

  • Any form of discrimination—physical or verbal—based on gender, caste, religion, race, colour, region, language, disability, sexual orientation, marital or family status, or gender identity is strictly prohibited.

  • Intentional damage to College property or to the belongings of students, faculty, or staff will invite strict disciplinary action.

  • Disruptive activities in classrooms or during College events are not tolerated.

  1. Identification and Compliance
  • Students must carry their College identity card at all times and produce it when demanded by campus authorities. Refusal or failure to do so will be treated as a disciplinary violation.

  1. Prohibited Activities
  • Smoking within the College campus is strictly prohibited.

  • Use of mobile phones is not permitted in classrooms and College corridors.

  • Students shall not interact with media representatives or invite them onto the campus without prior permission from the College authorities.

  • Audio or video recording of lectures, classroom activities, or actions of other students, faculty, or staff is prohibited without prior approval.

  • Sharing of any audio or video recordings or campus activities with media or social media platforms without authorization is strictly forbidden.

  1. Social Media Etiquette
  • Students are expected to use social media responsibly. Posting derogatory or defamatory comments about individuals or the College is prohibited and may attract serious disciplinary action.

  1. Dress Code
  • Students must adhere to the prescribed dress code or uniform as instructed by the College on specific days or occasions.

The above guidelines are in addition to the existing rules and regulations prescribed in the Student Guidebook. In the event of any alleged breach of the Code of Conduct, the matter shall be referred to the Disciplinary Committee, which will conduct an inquiry and recommend appropriate action based on its findings.
